Buzzreach Launches CRC Career Discovery Series Vol.1 Featuring Aichi Cancer Center

Buzzreach (HQ: Minato-ku, Tokyo; CEO: Takateru Inokawa) is launching a new webinar series called 'CRC Career Discovery Series' to redefine the professional value and career development of Clinical Research Coordinators (CRCs). The first session on June 5, 2026, 18:00-19:00 JST, will be held online via Zoom at no cost. Speakers from Aichi Cancer Center in Nagoya include Dr. Hiroya Taniguchi, Head of the Clinical Trial Support Office, along with in-house CRCs Kayo Sakurai, Makiko Obara, and Taiki Kato. As clinical trials grow more complex with the spread of Decentralized Clinical Trials (DCT), CRCs face rising demands for specialization and IT literacy. Yet many lack exposure to practices beyond their own institutions. Buzzreach, known for its trial management platform StudyWorks, designed this series to share frontline knowledge and inspire the next generation of CRCs. The program features a lecture on Aichi Cancer Center's cutting-edge oncology efforts, a talk on transitioning from nursing to in-house CRC work, and a panel discussion on real-world challenges and skills.
