Starting June 1, 2026, Ninnaji, a World Heritage site in Kyoto, will begin offering a summer-limited paper-cut Goshuin titled 'Summer, Cooling at Ninnaji.' This project is produced by ELternal, a venture originating from Waseda University. The Goshuin features delicate paper-cut art depicting the scenery of Ninnaji's south and north gardens, capturing the cool beauty of early summer. This initiative aims to increase the number of temple fans through Goshuin and pass on traditional culture to future generations. Ninnaji, founded in 888, is the head temple of the Omuro school of the Shingon sect and a famous site visited by many tourists from around the world.
