FCC Techno Advances Toward Carbon-Neutral Management by Decarbonizing Electricity

FCC Techno (Headquarters: Fukuoka City, Fukuoka Prefecture; CEO: Shusei Nishimura), an IT firm, announced that starting in May 2026, it has switched its electricity supply to 'Natur Energy,' a clean, environmentally friendly plan providing 100% renewable energy using FIT non-fossil fuel certificates.

Following this, the company will actively promote carbon-free management and will continue to support LPG businesses, electrification efforts, and the shift toward electric vehicles (EVs) for its corporate fleet.

Considering the recent energy crisis and the necessity of building a sustainable local community, the company had previously been exploring renewable energy procurement and carbon-neutral management.

Finding common ground with the philosophy and business model of 'Natur Energy,' which aims to promote eco-friendly energy from its base in Kyushu, FCC decided to switch its power supply as of May 2026.

'Natur Energy' provides 100% renewable energy by utilizing FIT non-fossil fuel certificates. By sourcing and selling energy primarily from hydroelectric, wind, and other renewable sources, it contributes to carbon neutrality while respecting the natural environment of Kyushu.

CEO Shusei Nishimura commented on the objectives of this adoption and the company's commitment to carbon-free management:

'Environmental initiatives, including carbon neutrality, previously felt distant to us. However, in the nature-rich region of Fukuoka, Kyushu, it is a daily occurrence for our employees to spend time with their families in the mountains and by the sea. Protecting this local natural wealth is deeply connected to our own lives and way of living.

Furthermore, the environment surrounding energy supply and demand has become increasingly complex and sophisticated. I have come to recognize that environmental initiatives are no longer just ideals, but immediate issues in corporate management.

We have partnered with 'Natur Energy' to receive practical support for carbon neutrality here in Fukuoka. With consistent assistance ranging from carbon emission measurement to the provision of relevant tools, we are taking the first step toward carbon-neutral management.

We have already been committed to paperless operations. Moving forward, in addition to this renewable energy procurement, we will also promote the electrification of our corporate vehicles.

Founded in 1962 as an IT venture in Fukuoka, FCC Techno began its operations with contract computing. After a management restructuring in 2021, the company entered its second founding phase.
