FLEXFORM, a leading Italian luxury furniture brand, in collaboration with FFJ Co., Ltd., will relocate and open its new flagship store, "FLEXFORM TOKYO," in Minami-Aoyama, Tokyo on Friday, July 3, 2026.
The reborn "FLEXFORM TOKYO" flagship store embodies the world of timeless elegance and Italian craftsmanship that FLEXFORM pursues, through a three-story showroom filled with natural light. The space is designed to quietly highlight the presence and beauty of each piece of furniture.
Selected materials, well-balanced proportions, and the artisan's handwork dwelling in the details. And a comfort that can only be felt by actually touching and entrusting your body to the furniture. At the new "FLEXFORM TOKYO," you can experience the serene elegance and unparalleled comfort born from craftsmanship passed down since its founding in 1959 and timeless design that transcends eras.
Furthermore, the new store will be the first in Japan to develop the worldview of the new concept announced at the 2026 Milan Design Week, "The Private Lives of Objects—Beloved Companions for Life." Along with the latest collections by Antonio Citterio, Fumie Shibata, Patrick Norguet, and Sebastian Herkner, we will introduce the rich way of life that FLEXFORM proposes.

The Private Lives of Objects—Beloved Companions for Life. The new concept "The Private Lives of Objects" announced by FLEXFORM in 2026. It embodies the idea of viewing furniture not merely as "objects" to be owned, but as companions that walk alongside us in life. They quietly watch over our daily lives, accompany us through various moments, and carve our stories and memories with us. Over time, the furniture becomes an irreplaceable part of our lives. The new flagship store embodies this concept in the space itself.
By highlighting each piece, the furniture exhibition allows you to feel the texture of materials, the forms, the precise proportions, the craftsmanship in the details, and the inherent beauty of the furniture. In the showroom filled with natural light, you can experience the world of FLEXFORM while touring the three floors connected by a beautiful glass staircase. The space, where sophistication and warmth quietly harmonize, expresses the timeless elegance and the spirit of Italian craftsmanship that the brand has pursued.
At the new "FLEXFORM TOKYO," intimate living scenes are depicted on each of the three floors through delicate combinations of materials, colors, and furniture. On the B1 floor, a living scene where relaxation and conversation naturally arise is centered around the modular sofa "LOUNGESCAPE" by Antonio Citterio. Its soft curves, organic volume, and inclined base that brings a sense of lightness achieve both a solid presence and comfort. On the 1st floor, the latest collection from the 2026 Milan Design Week is featured, centered on the new modular sofa "QUINCY" by Antonio Citterio. Its one-piece structure forms an embracing shell that envelops seat cushions lavishly filled with soft feathers. On the 2nd floor, furniture with different personalities harmonizes to create a calm living scene. "GROUNDPIECE" is a long-selling masterpiece representing FLEXFORM, which proposed a new way of living about 25 years ago. The elegant table "ENN" by Fumie Shibata, with its high-quality combination of wood and cowhide leather, completes the space.
Throughout the showroom, diverse design sensibilities resonate quietly. "GINGER" brings a discreet, timeless elegance, while "LOUISE" offers a light presence with its sophisticated combination of leather and glass. The design of Fumie Shibata also lives on in "ERI" and "SORETO." "ERI" has a soft, enveloping form, while "SORETO" is an accessory collection exploring the role of objects that quietly accompany daily life.
