主要指標 — KEY FIGURES

The first edition of the Kyushu International New Generation Art Fair “KINGAF 2026” will open on Friday, October 2, 2026, at ONE FUKUOKA BLDG. in Tenjin and SIGNAL GALLERY in Imaizumi, Fukuoka.
Held under the theme “HORIZON — Opening New Perspectives and Futures Through Art,” the exhibition brings together 24 new-generation artists primarily active in Taiwan. Their works explore the concept of “HORIZON” through diverse forms of expression, including painting, ink art, mixed media, and illustration.
The previous press releases introduced the concept behind KINGAF and featured participating artists. As the third release, this announcement highlights what visitors can experience at the venues ahead of the exhibition’s opening on October 2, along with key event information.
24 Artists, 24 Perspectives on “HORIZON”
At KINGAF 2026, the common theme of “HORIZON” serves as a starting point, while each artist is given the freedom to interpret and express the theme in their own way.
The subjects explored vary from artist to artist, including nature and life, memory, society, human relationships, cities, culture, and visions of the future.
The exhibition brings together a wide range of artistic expressions—from works that reinterpret traditional forms such as painting and ink art from contemporary perspectives, to works that cross boundaries between materials and techniques through mixed media, soft sculpture, illustration, and more.
One of the highlights of the exhibition is the opportunity to encounter different landscapes, perspectives, and questions emerging from the same word: “HORIZON.”
Five Participating Artists to Visit Fukuoka During the Exhibition
During the exhibition, five participating artists—Ivy Lin, Huang Yu-Shan, Jeffrey, Maggie, and Mitsuko Tsai—will visit Fukuoka and are scheduled to interact with visitors at the venues.
Visitors will have the opportunity not only to view their works, but also to gain insight into the artists’ creative processes and ideas through direct encounters with the artists themselves.
A VIP Preview will also be held on Friday, October 2, from 11:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. for collectors, business representatives, and professionals involved in the arts and cultural sectors.
Two Venues Across Tenjin and Imaizumi, Fukuoka
Main Venue | ONE FUKUOKA BLDG. 6F Presentation Room 1
The main exhibition will be held in an approximately 243-square-meter exhibition space on the 6th floor of ONE FUKUOKA BLDG. in Tenjin, Fukuoka.
Visitors can experience the diverse works and perspectives of the participating artists in one space while discovering new-generation art from Taiwan.
Satellite Venue | SIGNAL GALLERY
Located in Imaizumi, SIGNAL GALLERY serves as the satellite venue for KINGAF 2026, operating under the concept of “Art × Music × Culture.”
Works will be presented in an environment distinct from the main exhibition venue, offering visitors an opportunity to encounter art in a setting closer to everyday life.
By visiting both venues in Tenjin and Imaizumi, visitors can experience not only the artworks themselves, but also a new relationship between art and the city of Fukuoka.
General Admission Begins at 3:00 p.m. on October 2
Following the VIP Preview from 11:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. on Friday, October 2, KINGAF 2026 will open to the general public from 3:00 p.m.
General admission hours are 3:00 p.m.–7:00 p.m. on October 2, and 11:00 a.m.–7:00 p.m. from October 3 through October 5.
The exhibition offers visitors to Fukuoka and Tenjin, as well as those interested in contemporary art from Taiwan, an opportunity to experience a diverse range of artistic expressions through the works themselves.
Visitors are invited to explore both venues and discover the different interpretations of “HORIZON” presented by each participating artist.
