GOODNEWS, a company based in Nasu, Tochigi, that focuses on solving social issues through food-themed urban development and sustainable sweet brands, will launch its 'Summer Fruit Festival' on June 1, 2026. Ahead of the summer season, the 'Butter no Itoko' brand will introduce new flavors including marmalade made with the rare Shonan Gold fruit and blueberry. Additionally, a marmalade flavor will be added to the 'Fruit Butter Sand' line, and a refreshing lemon flavor will be featured in the 'Melting Baked Cake.'

[Featured Product] Marmalade flavor with the 'phantom citrus' Shonan Gold! 'Butter no Itoko' is a new-texture sweet featuring butter-scented gofrette dough filled with sweet milk jam made from skim milk. The 'Butter no Itoko Marmalade,' available exclusively at the Sogo Yokohama store, offers a sophisticated flavor profile with the refreshing acidity and slight bitterness of Shonan Gold. It is priced at 1,080 yen for a pack of three.

The 'Summer Fruit Festival' also includes the limited-edition 'Butter no Itoko Blueberry' (1,080 yen), the 'Butter no Itoko Marmalade Butter Sand' (1,296 yen), the 'Butter no Sand Blueberry' (1,296 yen), and the 'Melting Baked Cake Refreshing Lemon' (972 yen), which will be released on July 1.

Under the vision of a 'Large Dining Table,' GOODNEWS aims to create a community where people connect through food. The company also launched a podcast titled 'Something nice!' hosted by founder Goichi Miyamoto in March.
