HashPort Wallet to Support Spot Bitcoin (BTC) Starting June 16, 2026

HashPort, Inc. (HQ: Minato-ku, Tokyo; CEO: Seihaku Yoshida) is pleased to announce that its Web3 wallet app, 'HashPort Wallet', will commence support for spot Bitcoin (BTC) starting June 16, 2026.

With this spot BTC support, HashPort Wallet evolves into a wallet where users can directly manage and deposit spot Bitcoin, in addition to the multiple BTC-related assets it already supports.

2026 marks the 16th anniversary of 'Bitcoin Pizza Day,' which commemorates the 2010 event where two pizzas were purchased for 10,000 BTC.

To make the start of BTC support even more enjoyable and relatable, HashPort Wallet will host a special campaign where the top 16 users by BTC deposit amount will receive Pizza-La gift certificates. Additionally, as a special project for the popular 'Web3 Quiz' feature, users who complete specific missions will be awarded a Bitcoin Pizza Day Commemorative SBT (Campaign period: May 22–May 28, 2026).

◆Support for Spot Bitcoin (BTC) Previously, HashPort Wallet supported various BTC-related assets on multiple chains, such as cbBTC, WBTC, tBTC, BTC.b, and BTCB. With this update, users can now manage and deposit spot Bitcoin (BTC) directly within the HashPort Wallet alongside these existing assets.

◆BTC Support Commemoration 1: Pizza-La Gift Certificate Campaign Bitcoin Pizza Day is celebrated globally within the crypto community as a symbolic anniversary of Bitcoin being used to purchase 'real-world items.'

To celebrate its 16th anniversary, we are presenting a 2,500 yen Pizza-La gift certificate to the top 16 users who deposit BTC into their HashPort Wallet between June 16 and June 30, 2026.

Reflecting the 16th anniversary, there will be 16 prize winners.

This special project celebrates a new step for Bitcoin with 'pizza,' mirroring the Bitcoin Pizza Day story.

Eligible period: June 16 (Tue) – June 30 (Tue), 2026 Eligible participants: Users who deposit BTC into HashPort Wallet during the period. Prize: Pizza-La gift certificate worth 2,500 yen for the top 16 users by BTC deposit amount. Additionally, in the 'Web3 Quiz' feature within HashPort Wallet, users who complete missions will receive a Bitcoin Pizza Day Commemorative SBT.

During this period, we are collaborating with the Japanese Yen stablecoin JPYC (issued by JPYC Inc.) to offer quiz questions themed around JPYC. The completion SBT features a special design of the official JPYC mascot, 'JPYC-chan,' and pizza, serving as a digital certificate commemorating the start of BTC support in HashPort Wallet.
