Infinity8 Co., Ltd. (Minato City, Tokyo; CEO: Kenichi Fujishima), operating the yakiton and grilled pork offal-focused restaurant brand 【Fujishima Group】 (Azabu Fujishima Honten / Yakiton Yukachan / Horumon Yukachan) under the concept of '18 years dedicated to pork—endless感动 and smiles through passion beyond price,' hosted the 'Fujishima Meister Award Ceremony & Networking Event' on Sunday, July 5, 2026, at Roppongi Ark Hills in Tokyo. This event celebrated the emergence of the first two certified Meisters from the 'Fujishima Meister System,' launched on June 1, 2026, recognizing technical skill acquisition, daily contributions, and the arrival of new team members. It marked a milestone proving that Fujishima Group's organizational philosophy of 'properly evaluating skills and contributions' is delivering tangible results.

First Meisters Certified Just One Month After Program Launch

The 'Fujishima Meister System,' launched on June 1, 2026, certifies three core artisan skills within Fujishima Group—skewer preparation (kushi-uchi), skewer grilling (kushi-yaki), and offal cooking (horumon)—as internal qualifications. Under the mission of 'properly honoring those who can do,' two employees have already earned certification as the first-generation Meisters.

◆ Yakiton Yukachan Store Manager: Hayato Anabuki

Achieved dual certification as both Kushi-Uchi Meister and Kushi-Yaki Meister.

◆ Horumon Yukachan Store Manager: Ryota Nakajima

Despite managing a different-format offal-focused restaurant, he obtained the Kushi-Uchi Meister certification, which forms the foundation of Fujishima Group's operations. He later earned the Horumon Meister certification, achieving dual Meister status.

The fact that store managers—leaders of frontline operations—were the first to challenge and obtain these certifications proved internally that the system is not just a theoretical concept, but a functional mechanism operating effectively in real-world settings.

More Than Just Technical Skills: Celebrating Everyone Who Supports the Company

In addition to Meister certifications, two special awards were presented during this ceremony.

One award recognized an employee who voluntarily obtained the Food Hygiene Manager qualification without being asked by the company. The other was a special prize for a part-time staff member who, despite their employment status, consistently contributed at a full-time employee level, supporting both the Horumon Yukachan store and its manager.

Fujishima Group actively fosters a virtuous cycle by recognizing each staff member's actions and attitude toward contribution, regardless of title or employment type, thereby building organizational trust and encouraging self-motivated engagement.

Welcoming New Team Members: New Hires and a Returning Colleague

Following the ceremony, the company welcomed two new employees who joined in the spring. One of them was revealed to be a returning employee who had left the company four years earlier to pursue personal training but returned with the heartfelt desire: 'I really wanted to come back here.'

Through consistent efforts like this certification program and recognition events, Fujishima Group is steadily building an organization that people want to return to and work for again.

Message from CEO Kenichi Fujishima

'We have launched new initiatives that our company has never done before. I am deeply grateful and proud that our staff have worked so hard to earn these certifications, and that every day, our employees and team members actively contribute and support the company from their respective positions. Fujishima Group has been around for 18 years. We will continue striving to create an environment where both the company and our staff can grow, aiming to reach 20 years, 30 years, and beyond.'

— Kenichi Fujishima, CEO, Infinity8 Co., Ltd.

Future Outlook

While aiming for the next certification, Fujishima Group will continue expanding the Meister System and building a sustainable organizational structure for a restaurant business. 'Skills develop people, and people create culture.' Fujishima Group will continue to fully support team members who keep challenging themselves.
