Classroom and World-Connecting English Education
Inspire High (Headquarters: Chiyoda-ku, Tokyo; Representative: Taichi Sugiura), a provider of EdTech materials based on the concept of 'accessible inquiry-based learning that connects to the world,' will hold a seminar for junior and senior high school English teachers on Tuesday, June 23, to showcase innovative school practices that foster student autonomy in learning English.
### Seminar Content
In the era of AI and globalization, there is a growing demand for 'proactive English education' that goes beyond mere knowledge acquisition and enables students to express their own ideas through English.
This seminar will feature three supervisors of 'Inspire High English,' an English learning program launched in April 2026 that exposes students to 'authentic English' from adults around the world. They will present their vision for the future of English education.
In the first part, participants will experience a real 'open class' at Komaba Toho Junior & Senior High School to see how student autonomy is actively drawn out. The second part will be a panel discussion where the supervisors will delve into the creativity and lesson design practices used in schools.
