However, the moment the viewer understands the structure and the intention behind the work, the visual experience changes dramatically. The smile that once seemed innocent flips into a cold 'mockery' towards humans who take information at face value. Viewers are confronted with the reality that they were 'blindly believing in superficial beauty'.

Hello, I am the artist Keiichiro Fujimoto.

I am truly happy to hold a solo exhibition of the Doubt series in my hometown, Fukuoka.

Once visitors understand the concept of this exhibition, there is no going back to the pure gaze they had before.

When leaving the venue, the smiles on SNS overflowing in the city and the superficial truths created by media will likely look completely different from before.

This exhibition will feature 20 works, including the new Doubt series.

There will also be an opening party on June 7 (Sun), so please feel free to visit the venue!
