"Steam Controller" to be Released on May 5 (JST) in Japan, Korea, Hong Kong, and Taiwan via KOMODO STATION

April 29, 2026 – Valve Corporation announced on April 28 (JST) that the "Steam Controller" would be released the following week. KOMODO, an international game company, will begin sales of this product as an official distributor for Japan, Korea, Hong Kong, and Taiwan from May 5, 2026, at 2:00 AM (JST) at KOMODO STATION, operated by KOMODO.

The "Steam Controller" is a versatile controller designed and manufactured by Valve for Steam. It provides a seamless and customizable gaming experience across various devices such as PCs, laptops, Steam Deck, Steam Machine, and Steam Frame.

It features a TMR magnetic thumbstick, high-definition rumble, and a capacitive-touch gyro, offering high operating precision, immersion, and flexible playstyles.

Regarding sales price and availability:

Sales of the "Steam Controller" for shipment to Japan, Korea, Hong Kong, and Taiwan will commence at KOMODO STATION from May 5 (Tuesday) at 2:00 AM (JST).

The sales prices (tax included) are as follows:

Japan: ¥17,800 Korea: ₩168,000 Taiwan: NT$3,388 Hong Kong: HK$788
