LUZ Co., Ltd. (Headquarters: 4-1-12 Minamikoshigaya, Kazo City, Saitama; Representative: Enka Asamizu) has launched a second audition for the local VTuber project 'Asagi Ruma,' which aims to promote the charm of Kazo City, Saitama, to Japan and the world, starting July 7, 2026.

This project began in March 2026 as a 'Community-Co-Created IP Creation Project' that leverages VTubers as digital content to promote regional attractions and achieve sustainable branding.

A crowdfunding campaign was conducted in May and concluded at the end of June.

While preparations for debut have progressed with warm support from many people, this second audition has been launched to ensure the project grows into a long-lasting, beloved regional IP. By clearly communicating the character's worldview and project direction, we aim to restart on a stronger foundation.

There are no changes to the character concept, project vision, or the core mission of 'delivering Kazo City's charm to Japan and the world.'

With gratitude to all supporters, we will continue preparing for a 2026 debut, aiming to build a regional IP that will be cherished for years to come.

◼️ The 'Asagi Ruma' Project: Growing Together with the Community

'Asagi Ruma' is a local VTuber project dedicated to promoting Kazo City, Saitama, to Japan and the world.

Through the digital medium of VTubers, the project will share diverse local charms—including tourism, culture, events, restaurants, and businesses—while aiming to create new visitor traffic and contribute to city promotion.

Leveraging the production and operational expertise gained from 'V-Graph,' LUZ Co., Ltd.'s VTuber creative support service, the project is being developed as a 'community-co-created IP' where locals, businesses, and fans grow together.

Additionally, 'Asagi Ruma' has been appointed as a citizen ambassador for Kazo City's 'Koshigaya My Ich-O-SHI Crew' and will collaborate with city promotion initiatives.

While the first audition focused on the project's concept, this time we are providing more detailed information about the character's worldview and setting, enabling applicants to deeply understand the essence of 'Asagi Ruma' before applying.

'Asagi Ruma' is the 'spirit of the Kazo Daruma,' dreaming of delivering Kazo City's charm to Japan and the world.

She will watch over the community, cherish encounters with people and the city, and promote Kazo City's attractions through live streams and events.

【Application Period】 July 7 – August 16, 2026

【Eligibility】 - Female applicants aged 18 or older - Experience in live streaming, entertainment, or public communication - Interest in Kazo City and willingness to engage proactively - Ability to visit Kazo City approximately once every two months - Commitment to at least two years of continuous activity - Availability to attend planning meetings and discussions (online participation acceptable) - Not currently affiliated with another agency, or able to terminate such affiliation upon acceptance

【Main Activities】 - Live streaming and video uploads on YouTube - Content sharing on SNS platforms such as X, Instagram, and TikTok - Promoting Kazo City's tourism, facilities, shops, and events - Appearances at local events - Collaborative projects with local businesses and municipalities

【Support Provided】 - Free provision of Live2D model, logo, and streaming interface - Fixed salary plus performance-based compensation - Streaming direction and guidance - Content planning and operational support - Promotion support
