A consortium consisting of C-Cube Consulting Co., Ltd. (representative), MAIA Co., Ltd., PwC Consulting LLC, and The Chugoku Bank, Ltd. has been awarded the 'FY2026 Regional Digital Women Talent Development and Employment Support Project' by Okayama Prefecture. The consortium announced that it began accepting applications for the 'Okayama Digital Women Project' on May 28, 2026. This project provides integrated support for women residing in Okayama Prefecture, ranging from the acquisition of digital skills to the creation of employment opportunities, while building a mechanism to supply talent that contributes to solving the digital challenges of local companies. In Okayama Prefecture, the outflow of women to other prefectures is a challenge due to a lack of career advancement opportunities and gender gaps in income levels. Meanwhile, local small and medium-sized enterprises face a shortage of talent to drive DX, which hinders productivity and business growth. This project aims to bridge the gap between 'training,' 'employment,' and 'corporate needs,' creating an environment where women can build careers and increase their income while staying in the prefecture, while simultaneously promoting DX for local companies. Furthermore, by building a 'Regional Talent Platform' that continuously connects talent with work, the project aims to create sustainable employment and revitalize the local economy beyond a single fiscal year. Through e-learning provided by MAIA, participants will systematically learn the flow of core business operations using systems. Even IT beginners can take their first steps as digital talent. After completion, the project aims to help participants work in more flexible, higher-paying jobs through work-sharing tasks utilizing IT skills and job referrals.
