"Design for All Working People." Design School for Working Adults "MoD" Begins Accepting Applications for 5th Term

MUSUBI Inc., which operates the design school for working adults "MoD (Manabiya of Design)", has begun accepting applications for its 5th term, which will commence in September 2026. Starting today, we will also begin accepting registrations for online information sessions detailing the 5th term.

MUSUBI Inc. has opened applications for the 5th term of its online design school for working adults, "MoD | Manabiya of Design" (hereinafter referred to as "MoD"), which will begin in September 2026.

MoD is a design school established in 2024 with the concept of "Design for all working people." It targets not only those aiming to become designers but also engineers, entrepreneurs, and all business professionals who wish to create new integrated value by combining design with their own careers.

This program, through a 12-week curriculum, teaches the "universal fundamentals of design" that go beyond mere tool acquisition, from both "theory and practice."

Features of "MoD"

Curriculum Balancing "Theory and Practice"

By engaging with non-verbal thinking and expression through form, not just acquiring short-term skills, participants will master design fundamentals that can be used for a lifetime.

Small-Group Classes by Leading Professionals

In small classes of 15 or fewer students, participants receive direct instruction based on a curriculum developed in collaboration with experienced professional designers and educators. One-on-one personal consultations are also available to provide advice from an industry perspective.

"Community" to Accelerate Learning

We provide a community where students can interact with each other and continue to learn autonomously even after graduation. Regular events such as the reading group "Design Book Club" and "Extension Class" for further learning after completion are also held.

Daisuke Endo (Overall Supervision, General Instructor for Foundation Course)

25 years as a designer. Currently a freelance designer & design consultant. Responsible for BizReach's logo design, with numerous awards including ADC and TDC. Also serves as Associate Professor at Pratt Institute and lecturer at Hitotsubashi University Business School.

Yuichi Tanaka (Instructor for Foundation and Applied Courses)

Served as Design General Manager at DeNA and Executive Officer/CDO at BizReach. Currently operates partnership, education, and AI businesses as the representative of MUSUBI Inc.

Takuji Ikeda (Instructor for Applied Course)

After working at NIFTY, Hatena, and Cookpad, currently serves as a Specialist Executive Officer at Kufu Company Holdings and representative of Design and Life. Also a part-time lecturer at Tama Art University.

Nobuo Suzuki (Instructor for Foundation and Applied Courses)

After working at CyberAgent and Mercari, currently engaged in promoting service design in the public sector.

Miwa Kuramitsu (Instructor for Applied Course)

After working at Capcom and Cookpad, founded KRAFTS&Co. Focuses on design direction and concept design support, primarily for digital services.
