Background of the Appointment

Mr. Kumakiri has previously served as an Executive Officer at Recruit Communications and as Director of the Tokyo Olympic and Paralympic Games Preparation Office sponsored by Recruit. Profile

Mr. Kumakiri has held key leadership roles including Executive Director and Head of Marketing at Recruit Communications, Director of the Olympic and Paralympic Preparation Office at Recruit Co., Ltd., and Vice President of Brand Planning. He has overseen brand marketing for all brands operated by the Recruit Group and Indeed.

For nearly 20 years, he has managed campaign planning, media planning and buying, creative direction, strategic PR, and international event sponsorships. He currently serves as Director and Chair of the Creative Committee at the Japan Advertisers Association and has won numerous domestic and international advertising awards for his projects.
