OZU, Musashino University, and Chulalongkorn University Launch 'Tripartite Practical Research Project' Combining Entertainment and AI

OZU, a provider of video production and creative services, has launched an international internship program for top AI students from the Faculty of Engineering at Chulalongkorn University, Thailand's premier comprehensive university, who are visiting Japan for short-term study at Musashino University.

In this program, OZU and Musashino University host top-tier students from Thailand's AI sector to collaboratively promote practical initiatives, such as AI projects utilizing real data from the entertainment industry and optimization of SNS marketing.

By organically integrating OZU, Musashino University, and Chulalongkorn University, a tripartite joint research system is being established, bringing together industry expertise and fields, academic insights and research infrastructure, and top AI talent, respectively.

Background of the Program

Chulalongkorn University is Thailand's premier comprehensive university, holding an academic status equivalent to the University of Tokyo in Japan. It has achieved world-class research results in a wide range of fields including medicine, engineering, and data science, and is one of the most influential research institutions in Thailand in the AI domain.

The university is home to many top-tier students aiming for valedictorian status. While they have achieved excellent academic results, they possess a strong desire to broaden their knowledge through practical research and learning based on real social issues.

This program was realized because these students have a strong desire to gain practical data research experience in Japan's entertainment sector. Selected students are participating in OZU's projects under the international internship planning and recommendation of Professor Virach Sornlertlamvanich, an influential figure in the Thai AI industry and professor at Musashino University's Faculty of Data Science.

Main Initiatives

1. AI Analysis Project Utilizing Entertainment Industry Real Data Students will utilize data related to event production and artist management handled by OZU to engage in AI-driven data analysis and marketing optimization, bridging the gap between academic research and practical business.

2. SNS Marketing for Thailand and the Southeast Asian Market Students will lead SNS marketing projects for the Thai and Southeast Asian markets, verifying the effectiveness of data-driven approaches beyond simple content creation, such as AI-assisted editorial efficiency and marketing campaign optimization.

3. Joint Development of New Products and Services During the internship, students aim to conceive and develop new products and services utilizing AI, planning practical projects from prototype construction to release.

Strategic Significance

Beyond video production and creative services, OZU is promoting the creation of new value by fusing AI technology and entertainment. Through this program, while building a joint framework with Musashino University and Thailand's premier university, OZU is establishing a foundation for a global AI talent network.
