RKKCS Sponsors Social Contribution Campaign 'Onigiri Action' for the Third Time

RKKCS (Headquarters: Kumamoto City, Kumamoto Prefecture; President: Atsushi Kaneko) will sponsor the 'Onigiri Action 2026' campaign (October 8 to November 17, 2026), a social contribution activity organized by TABLE FOR TWO International (Headquarters: Minato-ku, Tokyo; Representative: Masahiro Kogure; hereafter 'TFT'), an NPO working to solve global food issues. This marks the third consecutive year of sponsorship, where the company will support school meal donations for children in Africa and Asia through onigiri photo posts.

RKKCS upholds the sustainability statement 'People and Cities, Happier.' Beyond its core business, the company engages in sustainability actions to ensure the sustainable development of society, including its clients and the local residents they serve. To contribute to solving various social issues beyond Japan, the company supports TFT's mission of bringing smiles to children around the world.

During last year's campaign, RKKCS held an internal event called 'Furumai Onigiri' to encourage photo submissions, resulting in 115 photos. The company plans to conduct similar activities involving employees again this year.

In addition to sponsoring 'Onigiri Action,' RKKCS has implemented the 'CUP FOR TWO' program across all beverage vending machines for employees at its headquarters. Under this program, every beverage purchase provides a donation for one school meal in the supported region via TFT.

About 'Onigiri Action' 'Onigiri Action' is a campaign organized by TFT to commemorate 'World Food Day' on October 16, as established by the United Nations. By posting onigiri-related photos with the hashtag #OnigiriAction on SNS (Instagram, X) or the special website, sponsor companies donate five school meals per photo, which are delivered to children in Africa and Asia through TFT. Celebrating its 12th year, Onigiri Action has grown as an initiative that people can easily participate in as part of their daily lives.
