SPACER Launches 'pikuraku PORTER' Luggage Delivery Service at Kintetsu Kyoto Station

SPACER Inc. is introducing smart lockers at Kintetsu Kyoto Station with the cooperation of Kintetsu Retailing Corp. and Kyoto City, in response to the growing use of smart lockers by inbound tourists.

Along with this, the company is launching 'pikuraku PORTER', a same-day luggage hotel delivery service using smart lockers.

By introducing new smart lockers in the high-demand Kyoto area, the company aims to reduce congestion and provide a more comfortable 'hands-free tourism' experience.

1. What is 'pikuraku PORTER'? 'pikuraku PORTER' is a service name owned by West Japan Railway Company (JR West). If you drop off your luggage at a station smart locker by 2:00 PM, it will be delivered to your hotel by the evening of the same day.

2. Service Overview of Kyoto Station Smart Lockers With the new installation inside the Kintetsu Kyoto Station ticket gates, luggage can now be delivered to hotels in Kyoto City from two locations, including JR West Kyoto Station. ・Service start date: May 22, 2026 (Fri) ~ ・Luggage acceptance (delivery): Until 2:00 PM ・Location: Kintetsu Kyoto Station inside ticket gate locker area (17 doors total) ・Pricing: Storage 400-900 JPY, Same-day hotel delivery 1,900-3,300 JPY ・Payment: Transportation e-money, credit cards
