Synspective Inc., a Tokyo-based provider of small SAR satellite development and data solutions, and Kongsberg Satellite Services (KSAT), a global leader in integrated mission services, have announced an expansion of their strategic partnership. This new agreement builds upon the initial collaboration established in October 2019, aimed at enhancing Synspective’s satellite constellation and global Earth observation capabilities.
Under the agreement, Synspective will increase its utilization of KSATlite, a fully automated Ground Segment as a Service (GSaaS) specifically designed for small satellites and mega-constellations. By strengthening ground network solutions, the companies intend to sophisticated mission operations, expand data downlink opportunities, and deliver SAR data products more rapidly to customers worldwide. This initiative is crucial for supporting Synspective’s growing fleet and ensuring low-latency access to critical geospatial information.

Synspective aims to build a constellation of more than 30 small SAR satellites by 2028, striving to create a new infrastructure capable of observing changes anywhere on Earth to realize a resilient future.
