taliki Inc. (Nakagyo-ku, Kyoto City; CEO: Taka Nakamura; hereinafter "taliki"), a company dedicated to supporting players in solving social issues, will co-host the two-day social conference "BEYOND2026" on October 30 (Fri) and 31 (Sat), 2026, together with Kyoto City and Kyoto Research Park Co., Ltd. The event aims to explore sustainable approaches to addressing social challenges through business.

In conjunction with this announcement, the official BEYOND2026 website and ticketing site have now launched.

Marking its 10th edition this year, "BEYOND2026" will bring together participants from all sectors—including entrepreneurs, corporations, government bodies, investors, NPOs, and students—from across Japan to Kyoto. The conference will re-examine how industries collectively can protect and sustain the fragile yet precious foundation of our everyday lives.

About BEYOND

"BEYOND" is a social conference designed for social entrepreneurs and other changemakers working to solve social issues. Since its inception in 2018, the conference has been held nine times, attracting over 3,600 cumulative participants.

The defining feature of BEYOND is that it serves as a space dedicated to fully supporting individuals committed to solving social issues.

Centered on the voices and questions of professionals actively tackling challenges on the ground, BEYOND creates opportunities where essential resources for business growth intersect with diverse knowledge and perspectives.

This is not a venue where someone provides definitive answers. Instead, participants from various sectors and generations—entrepreneurs, corporations, government, investors, NPOs, students—gather to think and grow together, transcending traditional roles of "supporter" and "supported."

It is an open space for connection and co-creation, welcoming all who wish to make society a little better.

BEYOND2026 Concept

Peace is like a meticulously polished windowpane.

The more carefully it is polished, the more transparent it becomes—so much so that we eventually forget it exists.

We remain unaware of how it shields us from cold winds and safeguards our safe, everyday lives.

Only when our seemingly stable daily life begins to tremble beneath our feet, when society’s functions halt and that glass shatters, do we finally realize

how fragile and precious the foundation that protected us truly was.

So, who has been continuously polishing this invisible window?

Behind the scenes of economic growth, purpose-driven narratives, and markets celebrating profits,

there are people working tirelessly in society’s margins, covered in mud, preventing unjust divisions and isolation, and holding up the glass of "normalcy" so it does not break. The prosperity we enjoy stands, barely, upon their endless dedication and sacrifices.

Economic prosperity is built upon the absolute precondition of peace.

So, who bears the responsibility for peace?

At BEYOND2026, we will confront this question directly.

<Concept Background>

Since its launch in 2018, "BEYOND" has functioned as a crossroads for changemakers committed to solving social issues.

As recent global instability reminds us, the "economic growth" and "innovation" we naturally pursue are only possible on the stable foundation of "peace." Yet, the individuals working on the front lines to maintain this foundation—and the risks and costs they bear—have often remained invisible within the logic of market economies.

At BEYOND2026, we will reframe "peace" not as an abstract concept, but as social infrastructure. Over two days, social entrepreneurs, investors, corporations, government, NPOs, students, and other diverse stakeholders will come together to learn from and experience the voices of those who have long polished this invisible window, and to explore what it truly means to "protect peace" in the society of tomorrow, including the resources and forms of solidarity required.

※ This event is designed to address multiple targets under the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), with a starting point in Goal 16: Peace.
