Originally scheduled for Hanabata Square, the event was relocated to Ryutanomori Sports Hall due to rain affecting court conditions. Despite the venue change being announced just one day prior, top-tier teams from across Japan delivered intense matches, drawing large audiences on both days—so much so that standing-room-only crowds filled the venue. Uenohara Sunrise Claims Victory After Intense Preliminary and Final Tournaments

On the first day, July 4 (Sat), despite the sudden venue change, all 12 teams competed in the preliminary round under the eyes of a passionate audience. At Ryutanomori Sports Hall, teams fought fiercely for a spot in the final tournament. After 12 intense matches, the top 8 teams advanced to the knockout stage.

High-flying battles, tense matchups, and determined shot-blocking defined the competition.

On the second day, July 5 (Sun), the final tournament featured the 8 teams that advanced from the preliminaries. After a series of hard-fought matches, Uenohara Sunrise and Shibuya Tokyo Dime advanced to the final.

The final began with Shibuya Tokyo Dime taking an early lead, drawing attention to Uenohara Sunrise, the two-time defending champions. Uenohara Sunrise took the lead in the middle of the game, followed by rapid back-and-forth exchanges. Shibuya Tokyo Dime briefly tied the score, pushing the crowd's excitement to its peak.

Fast-paced offense, sharp drives, and precise long-range shooting characterized the intense battle.

In the final stretch, Uenohara Sunrise consistently scored key points, defeating Shibuya Tokyo Dime 20–15 to claim the 'KUMAMOTO Round' title—achieving an unprecedented third consecutive championship.
