Optyino.ai (Optino AI) is a GEO/AIO/LLMO platform that visualizes and optimizes brand exposure in the AI search era, and based on the accumulated AI response logs, it analyzed the brand recommendation trends of generative AI in the home appliance and gadget fields.
This survey targeted 34 prompts covering a wide range of categories, including daily home appliances, seasonal home appliances, PCs, small home appliances, and power gadgets, and analyzed 40,930 AI responses obtained from April 21, 2026, to July 11, 2026.
Survey Summary
Out of the 40,930 AI responses analyzed, specific brand names were detected in 39,527 responses (96.57%), and the number of brands detected was 81.
The brand with the highest number of appearances was featured in 20,905 responses (51.08%), and the difference with the second-ranked brand's 14,458 responses (35.32%) was 15.76%.
When looking at categories, the comprehensive home appliance category had a total response appearance share of 153.12% with just 5 brands, and it was found that there is a strong tendency for multiple brands to be listed simultaneously within a single response.
By AI model, out of the 8 models (Copilot, Claude, Gemini, Google AI Mode, Google AI Overview, ChatGPT, Grok, Perplexity), the most frequently appearing brand was common in 7 models, while Copilot alone had a different brand as the most frequent.
By prompt, the brand appearance response rate ranged from a high of 99.84% to a low of 88.40%, a difference of 11.44%, and it was confirmed that there are differences in the aggressiveness of generative AI in mentioning brand names depending on the target area, even for prompts indicating the same "purchase intention."
Background of the Survey
The opportunities for generative AI to respond to home appliance and gadget purchase inquiries are increasing, and it is becoming an important indicator from the perspective of future brand exposure and GEO/AIO strategies to see which brands AI recommends.
On the other hand, the reality of how much specific brand names appear in AI responses, how much they are concentrated on a particular brand, and whether recommended brands differ by AI model has not been sufficiently visualized.
Therefore, using the home appliance and gadget field AI response logs accumulated by Optyino.ai, we analyzed the occurrence status of brands by category, AI model, and prompt.
Main Survey Results
Specific brand names appear in 96.6% of generative AI home appliance and gadget responses
Out of the 40,930 target responses analyzed, specific brand names were detected in 39,527 responses (96.57%).
Here, "brand appearance response rate" refers to the ratio of responses in which specific brand names were detected in the body of the AI response.
The number of brands detected was 81, and it is considered that generative AI home appliance and gadget recommendations are almost always accompanied by specific brand names in the form of responses.
The remaining 3.43% are considered to be responses that only provide general advice or explanations on how to choose without including brand names, and there may be room for strengthening individual brand exposure for this layer.
The most frequently appearing brand appears in 51% of all responses, with a difference of 15.76% from the second place
The first-place Panasonic appeared in 20,905 responses, with a response appearance share of 51.08%, and the difference with the second-place SHARP is 15.76%.

Brand Number of Response Appearances Response Appearance Share 1 Panasonic 20,905 51.08% 2 SHARP 14,458 35.32% 3 HITACHI 11,937 29.16% Results for positions 4 and below (IRIS OHYAMA, Apple) can be found here:

Out of the top 15 brands, positions 1 to 4 are occupied by comprehensive home appliance manufacturers Panasonic, SHARP, HITACHI, and TOSHIBA.
These brands are often mentioned in prompts for multiple home appliance categories such as washing machines, refrigerators, air conditioners, and microwave ovens, and it is considered that the breadth of the target categories directly leads to the accumulation of response appearances.
On the other hand, from the 5th place onwards, brands with strengths in specific product areas such as Anker, Apple, and Google/Pixel are lined up, and many brands are concentrated in the range of 8.05% to 18.69%.
Compared to the difference of 15.76% between the 1st and 2nd places, the difference between the lower-ranked brands is small, and while the top 1 brand is prominently quoted, the rest share the share with a gentle difference.
Note that if multiple brands appear in one response, each brand is added as one response, so the total share may exceed 100%.
Same brand appears most frequently in 7 out of 8 AI models, with 1 model having a different trend
Out of 8 models, Panasonic was the most frequently appearing brand in 7 models, while Copilot alone had PC Workshop/LEVEL∞ as the most frequent.
AI Model Brand Appearance Response Rate Number of Detected Brands Most Frequently Appearing Brand Copilot 100.00% 73 PC Workshop/LEVEL∞ Claude 97.19% 69 Panasonic Gemini 90.89% 81 Panasonic Google AI Mode 98.82% 75 Panasonic Results for the remaining 4 models (Google AI Overview, ChatGPT, Grok, Perplexity) can be found here:

Gemini has the highest number of detected brands at 81, and it is calculated that it almost single-handedly covers the 81 brands detected in the entire survey.
On the other hand, Copilot has the highest brand appearance response rate at 100.00%, but the number of detected brands is relatively low at 73, and it is considered to be a model with a high concentration on specific brands.
In fact, in the detailed brand ranking data, the model where PC Workshop/LEVEL∞ appears the most is Copilot, and it can be seen that Copilot has a tendency to repeatedly mention specific brands in PC and gaming PC related questions.
Since the most frequently appearing brand and the number of detected brands differ by model, if you only look at a specific AI model to judge the exposure status of your own brand, you may end up with an evaluation that differs from the reality.
When considering GEO/AIO measures, it is recommended to confirm not only the results of a single model but also multiple models in a cross-sectional manner.
