WineBank Co., Ltd. (Minato-ku, Tokyo; Representative Director: Kunihito Nakano) is pleased to announce its participation in "Thierry Marx Japan," a new project led by one of the most prominent chefs in the French culinary world, Thierry Marx, and TBS Television. The project will see the opening of "Brasserie Thierry Marx" in Minato-ku, Tokyo, in the spring of 2027.
Thierry Marx has long been a star chef in the French culinary scene, emphasizing not only the background of ingredients and culture but also the connections with people involved, the sharing and dissemination of knowledge and information, and even environmental issues, focusing on the link between food and society.
Under this project, based on Mr. Marx's philosophy of "Good Food Spiral," various initiatives will be developed in Japan, centered on "providing food experiences" and "social collaboration activities." As part of this, the planned "Brasserie Thierry Marx" will be a brasserie-style restaurant where guests can enjoy Mr. Marx's culinary philosophy more casually.
Currently, the WineBank Group operates a total of 24 restaurants, including the long-established Ginza grand maison "Apicius," which has over 40 years of history. Additionally, the company has launched the membership club "WineBank CLUB," a new service that allows members to enjoy restaurant wines, which tend to be expensive, at member prices, receiving support from many wine enthusiasts. Through participation in this project, the company aims to accelerate the creation of new experiential values and spaces centered on wine, and to further create value centered on food and wine.
