12 Top Artists to Perform! Event Content and Timetable Announced for 'KIRYU FESTIVAL 2026 MUSIC & CULTURE'

The Kiryu Festival Executive Committee announces the event content and timetable for the inaugural 'KIRYU FESTIVAL 2026 MUSIC & CULTURE', an outdoor music festival held in Kiryu City, Gunma Prefecture, on June 6 (Sat) and 7 (Sun), 2026, under the theme 'Music & Craft Culture Festival'.

Closing June 6 (Sat) with Kiryu Yagibushi Ondo! Experience Kiryu Culture! Yoga workshop with popular instructor Sayaka Shibuki to be held before the start on June 7 (Sun)!

Additional event details for the Kiryu Festival have been revealed! On June 6 (Sat), we have prepared 'Kiryu Yagibushi Ondo', the dance performed at the 'Kiryu Yagibushi Festival', one of the largest summer festivals in Northern Kanto and a hallmark content of Kiryu City, as the final content of the day.

Also, on June 7 (Sun) before the start, we will hold a yoga event led by Sayaka Shibuki, who has appeared on stage as the main instructor at major music festivals such as GREENROOM FESTIVAL. Participation in the yoga event is free for ticket holders. We look forward to seeing you there with your yoga mat.

June 6 (Sat) and June 7 (Sun) Timetable

The festival timetable has been released!

On June 6 (Sat), 'Ovall', led by Kiryu-based mabanua, 'DONGROSSO', a unit formed by Kiryu-born Dongurizu and Shinichi Osawa, along with TENDRE and other top DJs will liven up the first day of the event!

On June 7 (Sun), starting with Kiryu-born rapper 'Bendy', the live stage will feature a star-studded lineup including 'Tabito Nanao', 'bird', and 'MONKEY MAJIK'!

About KIRYU FESTIVAL 2026 MUSIC & CULTURE

An outdoor music festival themed 'Music & Craft Culture Festival' to be held over two days, June 6 (Sat) and 7 (Sun), 2026, in Kiryu City, Gunma Prefecture.

Kiryu City is known for its history in the textile industry and has produced many renowned fashion designers. It is also known for the 'Kiryu Yagibushi Festival', one of the largest summer festivals in Northern Kanto.

This festival fuses the culture represented by Kiryu City with a music festival featuring over 10 top musicians and DJs. It is a 'Regional Creation' project that collaborates with local residents, companies, and shops to build a community, enjoy the music and space, and shape the future of Kiryu City's tourism.

Produced by 'GREENROOM CO.', a creative production company that organizes various culture festivals, including the GREENROOM FESTIVAL, which has been held in Yokohama for 20 years.

The venue is Shinkawa Park, an urban park located in Inari-cho, Kiryu City. The park, located on the former site of the Kiryu Shinkawa Stadium (certified as one of Japan's 150 Baseball Sacred Places and Landmarks), is easily accessible within about 2 hours from Tokyo. It is a nature-rich venue filled with 'green' and 'water', with vast fresh green lawns, waterfall objects, and ponds.
