The Yokosuka Attraction Promotion Executive Committee (consisting of Yokosuka City, Keikyu Corporation, Yokosuka Chamber of Commerce and Industry, and Yokosuka Tourism Association) holds the 'Yokosuka Keikyu Line Walk,' a series of events promoting the charm of the Miura Peninsula.

The first event of fiscal 2026 will start at Uraga Station on the Keikyu Line. It covers approximately 6km, passing through the 'Uraga Brick Dock,' symbol of the town's shipbuilding history; the nostalgic 'Uraga Ferry'; and 'Perry Park,' which commemorates the history of Japan's opening to the world. Participants will trace Japan's path to modernization while visiting these landmark locations.

A major highlight is the 'URAGA Bay Cruise,' a free, same-day registration event for participants. This special tour allows guests to experience the Uraga Channel from the water, the exact location where Perry's fleet arrived. The course also features historical spots like the Uraga Administrative Center Branch (Local History Museum) and Nishikanoto Shrine, allowing participants to enjoy a stroll in the early summer breeze.

Benefits for participants include 'Ion Water' for the first 500 arrivals at the start point, and original tin badges for the first 1,000 finishers. Additionally, those who answer the survey after finishing have a chance to win luxury prizes such as 'Yokosuka Mankitsu Kippu' (all-day passes) and 'YOKOSUKA Military Port Cruise' tickets.
