Enoshima Electric Railway Launches Paid Lighting Service for Enoshima Sea Candle

Enoshima Electric Railway Co., Ltd. (Fujisawa City, Kanagawa Prefecture; President: Satoshi Kuroda) announced that starting July 1, 2026 (Wednesday), it will launch a new service offering paid lighting of the 'Enoshima Sea Candle' (observation lighthouse), the symbol of Enoshima, to both individuals and companies.

Leveraging the brand power of Enoshima, which enjoys nationwide recognition, this experiential content is designed for a wide range of uses, from personal anniversaries and 'Oshi-katsu' (supporting favorite characters/icons) to brand promotion. Given its location, which is visible from various points along the Enoshima Electric Railway line and throughout the Kamakura-Shonan area, it is expected to enhance public visibility and information dissemination.

Overview of 'Enoshima Sea Candle Paid Lighting'

[Content] A new service providing paid lighting of the Enoshima Sea Candle to individuals and corporations. It allows users to illuminate this Enoshima landmark in their chosen colors.

[Features] (1) Experience transforming the landmark into 'your color' Users can illuminate the Enoshima Sea Candle in one of 12 available colors. It is perfect for personal purposes like birthdays and 'Oshi-color' expressions.

(2) Visibility and buzz across the Shonan area As a landmark representing Shonan, it is visible from a wide area. Lighting against the backdrop of the night sea has a strong visual impact, expected to trigger buzz and information dissemination among tourists and local residents.
