Eigashima Shuzo to Relaunch 'Single Malt Akashi' on June 1st

Eigashima Shuzo Co., Ltd. (Headquarters: Akashi, Hyogo; President: Akihito Ueda) will relaunch its flagship single malt whisky, 'Single Malt Akashi' (500ml, 4,070 JPY including tax), on June 1, 2026. Produced at a distillery by the sea in Akashi, Hyogo, 'Single Malt Akashi' is the company's representative whisky, matured in a gentle environment influenced by the sea breeze. This renewal evolves the liquid quality to offer more fruitiness and a lingering finish while respecting the original taste. By revising the blend ratio and adding multiple sherry cask whiskies, the whisky now features a profound fruitiness and a quiet, expansive finish. Meanwhile, adhering to the company's philosophy of delivering high-quality whisky for daily enjoyment, the alcohol content has been adjusted to make it more accessible and affordable. The label design has been updated to a deep green, inheriting the traditional green base while expressing the depth and complexity of the flavor. Furthermore, by incorporating supple curves reminiscent of the Seto Inland Sea's waves, the design captures the tranquility and depth of 'Single Malt Akashi'.
