Shibusawa Warehouse Co., Ltd. (Head Office: Koto-ku, Tokyo; President: Takeshi Osumi) will launch a human resource supply project for Filipino drivers utilizing the "Specified Skills" residency status (in the transportation industry field) to address the worsening shortage of truck drivers. This initiative is positioned as one of the projects embodying the "Expansion of Business Areas Beyond Logistics" set forth in the "Shibusawa Warehouse Group Medium-Term Management Plan 2026." In close cooperation with the Philippine TDG Group, our local partner in our logistics business in the Philippines, which has extensive experience in the human resource business, including supplying excellent seafarers to major Japanese shipping companies for many years, we have established a system to provide end-to-end support from recruitment and training in the Philippines to settlement in Japan.

The strength of this scheme lies in its one-stop system that handles everything from recruitment to settlement. The Philippines has a well-developed system for training and dispatching overseas workers, and there is a high degree of institutional compatibility with Japan's Specified Skills system. Recruitment, selection, and training in the Philippines will be handled by companies under the TDG Group. By leveraging the extensive track record and know-how of this group, we have established a system to secure human resources stably and reliably and train them into excellent, immediately effective personnel. In Japan, support will be provided by Shibusawa Connect Co., Ltd., a group company that became a registered support organization in February 2026. They will cover everything from immigration and administrative procedures, compliance training, and support for setting up life in Japan to mental care. This support system, which does not fragment the process, will provide an environment where foreign drivers can work with peace of mind and contribute long-term in Japan's logistics field.

Initially, we will proceed with accepting workers sequentially within our group, accumulating know-how in safety education and settlement, and aim to expand the business as a "total human resource solution" by offering it to logistics companies outside the group. We also plan to promote the expansion of this initiative to warehouse workers, in anticipation of the new Specified Skills category for the "Logistics Warehouse Field" scheduled to be established in fiscal year 2027.
