Sumikko Gurashi Appointed as Official Support Characters for the Great Antarctica Exhibition in Tokyo

The popular character brand Sumikko Gurashi has been named the official ambassador for the Great Antarctica Exhibition, scheduled to take place at Miraikan in Tokyo from July 1 to September 27, 2026. This exhibition offers visitors a chance to explore the secrets of Antarctica through immersive displays and authentic ice samples. Starting May 12, a limited-edition ticket bundle including a special sticker set will be available for 2,500 yen. Furthermore, the venue's gift shop will feature exclusive merchandise, such as plush keychains depicting the characters wearing the official gear of the 67th Japanese Antarctic Research Expedition, alongside various aurora-themed items.
