**LPI-Japan, a non-profit organization (Chiyoda-ku, Tokyo, Chairman: Atsuo Suzuki) providing open technology certifications such as the Linux certification "LinuC" (https://linuc.org/), announces the results of a survey on career formation for SREs and Infrastructure Architects. The survey targeted 110 infrastructure engineers in senior positions (SRE, Infrastructure Architect, Lead Engineer, Senior Engineer, etc. with an annual income of 7 million yen or more).**

- 01 | Approximately 90% of engineers answered that the technologies they learned during their rookie to junior years are useful in their current careers. - 02 | About 80% recommend that juniors learn Linux/OS infrastructure technologies, with the most common reason (54.1%) being "Because it becomes the foundation for troubleshooting abilities." - 03 | Approximately 80% feel that today's junior engineers have fewer opportunities to interact with OS/infrastructure technologies.
