The Independent Administrative Institution Japan Mint and the Independent Administrative Institution National Printing Bureau will jointly host the '49th Exhibition of Money and Stamps (Nagoya Edition)' from Wednesday, August 19 to Tuesday, August 25, 2026, at Matsuzakaya Nagoya, located in Nagoya City, Aichi Prefecture.

The exhibition will introduce the operations of both institutions, showcasing rare coins, banknotes, and stamps from their museum collections. Visitors will learn about the history and technology behind currency, including anti-counterfeiting measures.

Additionally, the event features live demonstrations of medal crafting and hands-on activities such as making watermark postcards, making it an engaging and educational experience perfect for summer vacation research projects.
