Machida City will hold the first 2026 session of its Digital Promotion Committee, composed of three experts, to address generative AI and AI Transformation (AX). The meeting will discuss revisions to the 'Machida City Comprehensive Digital Strategy 2025' and approaches to system co-utilization, with both online and in-person attendance options.

To swiftly respond to the latest trends in digitalization, including generative AI, Machida City has established the Machida City Digital Promotion Committee, comprising three experts deeply involved in national digital policy.

The first 2026 session will be themed "Directions for Revising the Machida City Comprehensive Digital Strategy 2025 and Approaches to Trending System Co-Utilization," and will gather expert recommendations on future strategic directions and engagement methods regarding AX (AI Transformation) and system co-utilization trends.

This committee meeting will be streamed online using avatars, AI voice, and metaverse space.
