Background
Bandai Town is promoting a new "Bandai Education" for ages 0 to 15, emphasizing childcare and education, with the mission of "Creating a world where diversity and inclusivity are commonplace, for children and adults, supporting continuous growth from 0 to 15 years old, and creating a space where children and adults walk together."
Furthermore, starting in fiscal year 2026, the town has redesigned its municipal elementary schools, the First and Second Elementary Schools, as "Schools with Distinctive Characteristics," and introduced a "School Choice System" that allows children to choose a learning environment that suits them individually.

What is the "Bandai Town Citizen Happiness Project"?
This project aims to further promote Bandai Town's mission of "The happiness of all citizens - realizing a symbiotic society where no one is left behind / co-creating a symbiotic society where everyone can live as themselves" and its vision of "Creating an attractive town where our children and grandchildren will want to continue living."
The project addresses a wide range of initiatives, from matters related to citizens' lives, such as realizing a town hall driven by its 4,000 residents, to matters related to staff work, such as redesigning work styles and transforming digital administration, as well as co-creation and collaboration with companies and local governments inside and outside the town, and collaboration with various players inside and outside the town, such as traveling public servants.

Initiatives such as holding regional revitalization events about once a month and having staff from the town hall and support personnel involved in various fields stationed there are underway to promote the attraction of companies from the Tokyo metropolitan area and to gain related population.
