Former Sekiwake Aminishiki's Ajigawa Stable visits Kurihara City! Regional event 'Ajigawa Stable x Hoeikai x Koji-kai Regional Seminar' to be held

This event aims to share the appeal of professional sumo with local residents and create opportunities for multi-generational interaction. The program features a special lecture by Stablemaster Ajigawa (former Sekiwake Aminishiki), interactive sumo sessions with wrestlers, food trucks, workshops, and more.

A collaborative event bridging community and sumo culture Ajigawa Stable was established in 2022 by former Sekiwake Aminishiki. Through this event, organizers aim to convey the value of regional medical and welfare services and create an opportunity to revitalize regional attractions, multi-generational interaction, and local businesses in partnership with Hoeikai and Koji-kai.

Special lecture by Stablemaster Ajigawa Stablemaster Ajigawa plans to share his experiences as an active wrestler, the importance of continuing to challenge oneself, and his passion for mentoring the next generation.

Kurihara City native wrestler Yasu daisho scheduled to attend Kurihara native wrestler Yasu daisho (Ajigawa Stable) is scheduled to attend. He has won tournaments in the Jonokuchi and Jonidan divisions and is currently active in the Makushita division.
