Kinokawa City to Hold Briefing for Togenkyo Athletic Park Redevelopment and Operation Project

Kinokawa City in Wakayama Prefecture (Mayor: Ken Kishimoto) is moving forward with the redevelopment of Togenkyo Athletic Park. To maximize the expertise, technical capabilities, and creativity of private businesses, the city is employing its first-ever public-private partnership model, the 'DBO Method' (a system for collectively outsourcing design, construction, maintenance, and operation).

Prior to the public call for businesses to handle the redevelopment and operation, a briefing on the 'Implementation Policy' of this project will be held as follows:

Date, Time, and Venue Date/Time: June 15, 2026 (Monday), 14:00 - 15:30 (Registration from 13:30) Venue: Kinokawa City Hall Momoyama Branch, 2nd Floor Meeting Room (376 Moto, Momoyama-cho, Kinokawa City) * No prior registration required. Up to 2 participants per business. * On the same day, from 13:00 to 17:00, the management building (one-story wooden structure) of Togenkyo Athletic Park will be open for viewing. Visitors can explore freely without prior application.

Target Businesses - Corporations considering participation in this project, including construction firms, design offices, landscaping companies, playground equipment manufacturers, facility operators, and maintenance providers. - Includes companies considering participation as representative, constituent, or partner companies within a consortium.
