Clay dolls and hariko dolls, which gained popularity among commoners around the Edo period and spread throughout the country. In Wakayama, Gobo dolls and Kawara dolls were also made. This project is held with the aim of allowing participants to enjoy interacting with local residents while experiencing the creation of simple and charming hariko dolls using materials such as clay and Japanese paper, and to learn about the wonderfulness and importance of their hometown.

Target Audience: Elementary school students residing in the city
Capacity: 20 people (Lottery will be held if applications exceed capacity)
Participation Fee: 100 yen
