Cooperative Agreement Signing Ceremony: July 6 (Mon) 2:30 PM - 3:00 PM, 4:00 PM - 4:30 PM
Location: Nerima City Hall (6-12-1 Toyotama Kita)
On July 6, the ward concluded a comprehensive cooperation agreement concerning the lifelong support project with the Council of Social Welfare and business associations, regarding lifelong support for the elderly and other individuals. This is the first time in the nation that a municipality, a council of social welfare, and business associations have signed an agreement for the purpose of lifelong support for the elderly and others.
This will expand the range of service choices by allowing ward residents who are not covered by the lifelong support project implemented by the ward and the Council of Social Welfare to receive support by being transferred to business associations.

[Overview]
In Reiwa 6 (2024), the ward established a end-of-life planning consultation service at the Rights Protection Center of the Nerima City Council of Social Welfare, and launched the "Lifelong Support Project ~Sonoe, Anshin 365~" on April 1, Reiwa 8 (2026). For the lifelong support project, as the support needs, income, and asset situations of consultants vary, the challenge has been to enhance flexible support tailored to individual circumstances, rather than providing standardized support.
With the conclusion of this agreement, ward residents who are not covered by the "Lifelong Support Project ~Sonoe, Anshin 365~" can have their service choices expanded by being transferred to business associations.
