MIRAIS Wins Diversity & Inclusion Award at Peatix Community Award 2026

The childcare leave community MIRAIS was awarded the Diversity & Inclusion Award at the Peatix Community Award 2026, organized by the event platform Peatix. The ceremony took place on May 27, 2026, at the SCC Sendagaya Community Center. MIRAIS started in 2018 as a community primarily for those on maternity and childcare leave, aiming to transform this period into a time for re-evaluating life and career choices. They provide opportunities for self-reflection through dialogue and learning. Since 2024, the community has evolved to include members returning to work. Over 8 years, it has engaged around 1,800 participants, supporting self-understanding during leave to prevent mismatches upon returning to work and promoting diverse work styles.
