Ibaraki Yanase Co., Ltd. (Headquarters: Mito City, Ibaraki Prefecture, President: Sadatoshi Hataya), which operates "Mercedes-Benz Mito," held a "Mercedes-Benz Mobile Exhibition" at Keisei Department Store (Mito City, Ibaraki Prefecture) for two days on Saturday, June 6, and Sunday, June 7, 2026.

This event was held as a special exhibition for a luxury imported car brand for the first time since its establishment at Keisei Department Store, the only department store in Ibaraki Prefecture. As the first joint project between a leading regional department store and an authorized Mercedes-Benz dealer, it attracted significant attention from many customers even before its opening, with a total of approximately 190 groups and about 570 visitors over the two days.

Throughout the event, customer traffic remained steady without interruption. Particularly on the evening of Sunday the 7th, customer numbers peaked, coinciding with increased foot traffic from the conclusion of events at nearby facilities. The venue was vibrant throughout, providing an excellent opportunity for customers of all ages to experience the appeal of the Mercedes-Benz brand.

Total of 4 Vehicles Displayed, Including Latest SUVs and Certified Pre-Owned Cars

The venue featured a total of four vehicles, including the premium SUV "GLC," the compact SUV "GLA," the three-row SUV "GLB," and a certified pre-owned "CLA Shooting Brake," which is set to be newly announced this summer. Interest was particularly high for the "GLC," with many questions from families regarding child seat installation and rear-seat spaciousness. Numerous inquiries were also received about the specific purchase prices of the certified pre-owned cars, with positive feedback such as, "Can I own a Mercedes-Benz at this price?"
