Huawei Japan held its 2026 Q2 New Product Launch event on May 21, 2026, unveiling a range of new wearable devices and high-immersion audio products designed to seamlessly connect sports and daily life.

### Introducing HUAWEI WATCH FIT 5 Pro and HUAWEI WATCH FIT 5

The company announced the 'HUAWEI WATCH FIT 5 Pro', the latest model in the popular series that has surpassed 24 million units in global shipments. Featuring the largest display in the history of Huawei's square smartwatches, it includes advanced sports tracking for golf, running, mountain climbing, and cycling. It also offers precise health management through the 'HUAWEI TruSense system' and ECG functionality, which has received Japanese managed medical device approval. Guest speaker Yukino Senpai from Chekera Golf highly praised the watch's convenient features, such as the automatic green rotation for golf.

Simultaneously, the 'HUAWEI WATCH FIT 5', a slim and lightweight model with approximately 10 days of battery life, was introduced as an ideal companion for daily use.

### HUAWEI FreeBuds Pro 5: Peak Audio Quality and Spatial Audio

Huawei unveiled the 'HUAWEI FreeBuds Pro 5' wireless earphones. Equipped with a redesigned dual-driver acoustic system and the Pro series' first spatial audio feature, it provides rich detail and an immersive listening experience. The ANC (Active Noise Cancellation) technology has also been significantly improved, ensuring crystal-clear calls even in noisy environments.

### New Colorways and Strategic Collaborations

A new 'Purple' colorway was added to the popular 'HUAWEI FreeClip 2' ear-cuff earphones, which have sold over 7 million units globally. Additionally, a new 'ONE PIECE' collaboration series, featuring motifs of the 'Four Emperors', was announced in partnership with Ueni Trading.

Furthermore, an official partnership with the Kokugakuin University Track and Field Club was announced. Coach Yasuhiro Maeda stated that HUAWEI WATCH will be utilized for athletes' training, serving as a powerful partner in their pursuit of winning the Hakone Ekiden.
