Since 2021, Western Gas has been implementing its Community Nurse program, currently operating at three locations within Fukuoka Prefecture. We are now pleased to announce the launch of our fourth site at 'Fukuoka 100 Plaza Hakata.'
The new site, 'Fukuoka 100 Plaza Hakata,' is located near Western Gas's headquarters. It is a Fukuoka City facility established by renovating a senior welfare center, designed as a hub for elderly social participation in the '100-year life era.'
At this facility, Community Nurse activities will be promoted as the 'Hub Coordinator' for 'Fukuoka Otobabi,' a program supporting citizens aged 60 and over in building purpose through social engagement.
What is a Community Nurse?
A Community Nurse does not refer to a specific qualification or profession. It is a concept independently developed and promoted by CNC Co., Ltd., inspired by the nursing practice of 'Community Nursing.' It refers to activities that support health and peace of mind by being close to people's daily lives within the community.
These activities include consultations on daily concerns and preventive care, as well as fostering mental, physical, and social well-being by supporting each individual's sense of purpose.
