Background of the event

Deafblind individuals are those who have both visual and hearing impairments.

Deafblind individuals require support in various aspects of daily life, including communication, going out, and obtaining information.

Interpreters/caregivers play a crucial role in supporting the social participation of deafblind individuals by accompanying them when they go out, supporting their safe mobility, and conveying information and conversations at the scene.

This training course aims to train "Interpreters/Caregivers" who can provide support to registered deafblind individuals in the "Interpreter/Caregiver Dispatch Service" of Tokyo and Hachioji City.
