Tajima City, Hyogo Prefecture Hosts Izushi Ware × Local Sake Fair and 45th National Sake Tasting Championship Prefectural Preliminary!

Event Purpose

We are hosting a collaborative event featuring Izushi Ware, a renowned ceramic craft from Izushi known for its modern white porcelain, and local sake from northern Hyogo Prefecture brewed with 'Fukunohana,' a sake rice grown in Izushi. Additionally, the Hyogo Prefecture preliminary round of the 45th National Sake Tasting Championship will be held concurrently.

Date: August 9 (Sunday) from 11:00 AM to 4:00 PM August 10 (Monday) from 10:00 AM to 3:00 PM

Venue: Tajima City Hall Izushi Branch Citizen Hall and Front Plaza Stage (1 Naimachi, Izushi-cho, Tajima City, Hyogo)

Registration: Not required

Sales of Izushi Ware (including sake vessels)

- Purchase sake cups and other Izushi Ware crafted by local revitalization team members and kilns in Izushi. - Visitors who purchase Izushi Ware will receive a complimentary sake tasting coupon (limited quantity).

Tasting and Retail Sales of Local Sake Brewed with 'Fukunohana'

- Approximately 25 sake brands from northern Hyogo will be available for retail sale (2–4 go bottles) and tasting (one cup ≈ 60cc). - Sake brewed with 'Fukunohana,' a sake rice cultivated by local Izushi farmers, will also be featured.
