Nasu Onsen, located in Nasu Town, Tochigi Prefecture, is said to have been discovered in 630 AD, making it one of Japan's most historically significant hot spring resorts. Over the centuries, it has welcomed countless travelers and health seekers, becoming deeply intertwined with people's lives and traditions. Now, Nasu Onsen is approaching a major milestone—nearly 1,400 years since its opening.
'We want more people to learn about this long history. And we wondered—could we create a keepsake that visitors could take home as a travel memory?'
From this idea was born the 'Oyuin' (O-Yuin).
In recent years, 'Goshuin'—calligraphic stamps collected at temples and shrines—have become popular souvenirs for travelers. Inspired by this tradition, Nasu Onsen sought to create a unique, onsen-specific way to commemorate a visit, leading to the development of the Oyuin.
The Oyuin is offered in a pre-written format, making it easily accessible to anyone visiting Nasu Onsen or the surrounding area. Designed to be versatile, it can be pasted into travel albums or displayed as room décor, adding a personal touch to one's journey.
We hope that visitors to Nasu Onsen will take home the Oyuin as a memento, carrying with them not only the warmth of the hot spring but also the deep sense of time and tradition that has accumulated in this place.

About the Design and Product Name
The design features the 'White Deer,' a legendary creature associated with the origin of Nasu Onsen, with the Nasu mountain range below and steam gently enveloping the entire image, creating a soft and warm atmosphere.
For production, we collaborated with local company Sugasawa Printing, using 'Satogami' (village paper), a traditional Japanese paper that conveys a rustic, heartfelt warmth.
