Kanazawa Yamagishi Bee Farm Co., Ltd. has jointly developed a high-performance skincare cream with Naboru Cosmetics Co., Ltd., a manufacturer of salon-exclusive cosmetics. The product will be showcased at 'Honey Festa 2026' held in Ginza, Tokyo. It contains designated ingredients researched and evaluated by K-bios, a university-originated venture (Kobe Bioscience Institute, led by Professor Yasuhito Shirai of Kobe University).
Beeswax Cream 'L'Or de L'Abeille' Developed by a Salon-Exclusive Cosmetic Brand
In addition to K-bios's groundbreaking research findings (refer to Naboru Cosmetics' press release), this product incorporates a high concentration of beeswax—a natural wax—based on our advisory input. Beeswax, as is well known, is the material that constitutes beehives, perfectly sealing every drop of nectar collected by bees without leakage. Yet it remains a flexible material that can be freely processed—truly a wonder of nature. We use beeswax as an oil agent in the skincare cream, aiming to create a 'protective seal' on the skin. While high-concentration formulation of beeswax in creams has traditionally been difficult, Naboru Cosmetics' proprietary emulsification technology has made this possible.
Chocolate-Flavored Honey 'Yoru no Hitosaji' (A Spoon at Night)
Held annually in Ginza, Tokyo, 'Honey Festa' will feature the aforementioned beeswax cream as its highlight for this year (2026). Additionally, the honey prototype containing 'Hocacy'—the star product of last year's (2025) event—is now being commercialized as a limited-edition product. It will be test-sold at the festival under the name 'Yoru no Hitosaji,' so please be sure to taste it. Hocacy is our registered trademark; it refers to a carob-derived ingredient from the legume family, identified in overseas research (refer to last year's press release for details). Research on 'Hocacy' is now being continued at Kobe University (Professor Sakakibara) under our commission. The chocolate flavor has received positive feedback, with approximately 70% (53 out of 76 respondents) in a tasting survey conducted at our stores rating it as 'delicious.' Please try it at the festival venue.

New Fruits Added to Our Flagship Product Line
'Bushukan' is also a new fruit
Even our existing products exhibited at the festival have seen significant improvements. Our flagship product, 'Honey Drink,' combines honey with domestically grown Japanese fruits in a simple formulation with no unnecessary additives. It is typically consumed diluted with water, sparkling water, or hot water. In our Honey Drinks, honey plays a supporting role—the fruit is the star. This product line has expanded to 19 varieties within the past six months, upgraded as part of our 'Exploring Japanese Fruits' project. One of these, 'Bergamot,' has been launched at Isetan Department Store in Shinjuku, Tokyo, and due to positive reception, we are proceeding with repeat production. Please experience the flavor differences at the event venue.
Over ten new fruit varieties have been introduced. Yamagishi's Honey Drinks feature Japanese fruits as the main ingredient.
New Strategy 'Honey Craft' Reflected in English Company Name
'Mikko,' the character from 'The World of Bees and Honey'
We manage beehives and produce and sell our own honey. While we handle a large volume of imported honey, we specialize in honey-based processed goods. With our 100th anniversary approaching, we plan to further focus on 'processed products.' In addition to 'Honey Drinks,' we are expanding the development of new products such as 'herb-infused honey' and 'warabi honey mochi,' aiming to become a company that delivers value beyond honey itself. We call this approach 'Craft,' encouraging ourselves with the motto 'Be a craftsman.' The abbreviated English form of this is 'BEACRAM®.' From now on, our official English company name will be 'YAMAGISHI BEACRAM INC.' We are also releasing a YouTube video series titled 'The World of Bees and Honey,' which deeply explores the world of bees and honey from a craftsman's perspective. Please search for it using our company name.
We hope you will enjoy the many expressions of our 'Honey Craft' strategy at Honey Festa.
The three new herb-infused honey products are also new symbols of Yamagishi's 'Honey Craft' strategy.
Last year's Honey Festa was featured as an episode of 'The World of Bees and Honey.' Please feel free to watch!
