Tekken Corporation (Headquarters: Chiyoda-ku, Tokyo; President: Masato Imai) has been selected as a 'Supplier Engagement Leader,' the highest rating, in the 2025 Supplier Engagement Rating by CDP, an international non-profit organization that evaluates environmental information.
This rating evaluates the extent to which companies promote climate change measures throughout their supply chains and work with suppliers to reduce greenhouse gas emissions. Based on responses to the CDP Climate Change Questionnaire, evaluations are made comprehensively across areas such as 'Governance and Business Strategy,' 'Risk Management Processes,' 'Supplier Engagement,' 'Scope 3 Emissions,' and 'Target Setting.'
Additionally, the company group has been selected for the 'A List,' the highest rating, in the CDP Climate Change division for three consecutive years.
Being a 'Supplier Engagement Leader' signifies that a company's climate change response within the supply chain is at an excellent international level, and that the company is strategically and continuously promoting decarbonization through collaboration with suppliers. Selected companies are expected to play a role in driving the transition to a sustainable economy.
Tekken attributes the acquisition of this highest rating for three consecutive years to the comprehensive evaluation of its efforts, including collaborating with suppliers to track and reduce greenhouse gas emissions (Scope 3), promoting environmentally friendly procurement, and strengthening its management structure based on climate change risks.
Moving forward, the company will further promote efforts to reduce environmental impact across the entire value chain and continue to strive to enhance corporate value toward the realization of a decarbonized society and the construction of a sustainable society.
