While interest in wood construction for non-residential sectors is growing due to decarbonization and SDGs, many businesses struggle to implement it due to the wide scope of design and construction considerations. Against this backdrop, Meiken Kogyo exhibited at the 'Non-Residential Wood Construction Fair' and held free mini-seminars on the use of CLT. Realizing wood construction in non-residential fields requires complex adjustments, such as selecting structural forms based on use and scale, and meeting fire resistance requirements. Meiken Kogyo supports projects from the initial planning stage through to completion. Moving forward, the company plans to promote the standardization of non-residential wood construction to achieve reproducible results, moving away from project-by-project optimization.
