Long-life Housing Component Standardization Promotion Council (CjK Council) Announces Roadmap at General Meeting; To Exhibit at JAPAN DIY HOMECENTER SHOW 2026

The Long-life Housing Component Standardization Promotion Council (CjK Council) announced its 2030 roadmap goals, including expanding its membership and product categories, at its general meeting. Additionally, the role of lead company has transitioned from Sekisui House, Ltd. to Daiwa House Industry Co., Ltd. The Council remains committed to activities that contribute to a richer residential lifestyle and the expansion of its member companies and the housing-related industry.

The Council will jointly exhibit with the Housing Industry Association at the 62nd JAPAN DIY HOMECENTER SHOW 2026 at Makuhari Messe in Chiba Prefecture, from August 27 to 29. The booth, themed 'Longer! More Comfortable! Appropriate Maintenance for Your Home!', will introduce efforts to standardize CjK components and provide maintenance demonstrations.

[Seeking New Members] The Council is seeking new members to join in efforts toward housing longevity and a sustainable society. The Council promotes the standardization of dimensions and specifications to facilitate easier residential maintenance and component replacement. Residential manufacturers, building material and equipment manufacturers, and related organizations collaborate to prepare standards, conduct research, and perform outreach activities.
