Job Responsibilities
Learning about satoyama through the 'Satopro. School'
[Year 1] – Getting to know Azumino and understanding satoyama activities
① Participate in Satopro. activities to learn about local partners and activity areas
② Actively engage in the operation of the Satopro. Kobo
③ Acquire knowledge about timber and master woodworking and wood-processing techniques
④ Explore launching a program to gift wooden products to newborns
Woodworking experience at the Satopro. Kobo
[Year 2] – Concretizing and diversifying each initiative
① Expand events and public use of the Satopro. Kobo
② Year-round sales of timber produced in Azumino at the Satopro. Kobo
③ Promote the wooden gift program (coordination and collaboration with stakeholders)
The workshop space at Satopro. Kobo equipped with large-scale machinery
[Year 3] – Implementing concrete measures toward achieving a 50% workshop utilization rate
① Establish an operational framework for the Satopro. Kobo based on activities from Years 1 and 2
② Launch the wooden gift program for newborns

The Azumino City Satoyama Revitalization Plan has, since fiscal year 2015, involved the city, businesses, and citizens working together to adapt satoyama—once an integral part of daily life—into modern society through various initiatives.
