Since its inaugural event in 2016, "CRAFT SAKE WEEK," a festival of Japanese food culture, has attracted a total of over 1.25 million visitors. In 2026, which marks its 10th anniversary, the event will be held on a massive scale for its longest duration ever of 13 days, featuring 130 breweries selected from across the country.
This event goes beyond mere tasting; it continues to evolve as a "cultural platform" connecting breweries, chefs, and visitors, and is gaining attention as a place to expand the value of sake to the world.
Abunotsuru Brewery will set up its booth on Thursday, April 23, designated as the "Day of Awakening Rising Stars Just Before Their Breakthrough," during the 13-day event. Making its first appearance as one of the 10 noteworthy breweries, it will be introduced as an "entity that will lead the future of the sake scene."
